MONAHAN, ROBERTA "FAY"

Passed away March 30, 2016 at the age of 80 in Kamloops, BC. Survived by her loving husband Jim of 64 years; sons; Dale (Deborah) of Kamloops, Ross (Marla) of Chilliwack and daughter; Lori (Stacy) Metcalf of 琉璃神社; eleven grandchildren, Shadd(Anne), Sean(Krystle), Sara(Keith), Eric (Deb), Shay, Megan, Shannon(Philip), Bobbi-Jo, Conner,Tyrone, Savannah; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Jordan, Abbey, Conner, Colby, Madelyn; brother Leroy Hibert; sister-in-law Ellen Worrell. Predeceased by her parents Alice and Paul Hibert, sister Lorraine and three sons Bob, Rick, and Randy.

Fay married Jim on May 10, 1951 in New Westminister, BC.

They had six children, five sons, and a daughter. Some

people thought she was a gypsy, as she liked to move around alot. For this reason they lived in many places throughout BC. (Cariboo, Kootenays, Lower Mainland, and the Thompson /Okanagan Valley and a couple of

places in Alberta.) Meeting many people that were always welcome in her home. Fay cared about everyone before herself. She was a strong willed woman. She listened well and gave good advice when asked. A loving, devoted, caring, supportive wife and mom. A woman who adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Some of her

enjoyments were reading, making crafts, sewing and cooking. Trying different recipes and inviting over family

to be her guinnea pigs. Flowers, she loved all kinds,cut or planted in her flower beds.She will be deeply missed by all. She is now reunited with her three sons, who she lost too early in life. Love you. Special thanks to all those who cared for her during her illness. There will be no service by request.
