WILLIAM (BILL) KILLINGSWORTH

1936-2017

After a brief illness, William (Bill) Killingsworth passed away peacefully on Aug 3, 2017, in 琉璃神社, B.C. He was 81. 

The youngest son of William Killingsworth Sr. and Cecilia Swift, Bill was born in Montreal and spent his professional years working for CP Rail in Montreal, and then in Toronto. Upon retirement, he and his wife, H茅l猫ne (nee Archambault), moved to Canmore, Alta., and then to 琉璃神社, British Columbia, to be near loved ones. He enjoyed the outdoors; and golf became a favourite pastime. But for Bill, nothing beat spending time with family.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Bud (married to Bernice) and Fred (to Vera), and survived by H茅l猫ne, his wife of 55 years, sons Michael and Thom (married to Stephanie), grandchildren Ryan, Andrew and Madelyn, as well as his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held in 琉璃神社 at Manteo Waterfront Resort on the afternoon of September 23rd. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Bill鈥檚 name to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association.
