To the editor:
I was driving north on Carsoso Road, just past Ecole Carsorso Elementary school at 3 p.m., Saturday, 12th November.
I saw a group of young children on the sidewalk riding their kick scooters. I smiled at the sight.
Then a car drove out of a side lane and accelerated off the side of the road to plow through a deep puddle of water. A huge wave of water soaked a young boy. The driver then drove way at speed, honking in celebration at what they had done.
I was very angry and disgusted at what I had witnessed. I stopped to talk to the boy, aged around 7, who was shocked, soaked through and crying. I offered what help I could and told him exactly what I thought of the scum who had done this to him.
Unfortunately the low-life ‘got away’ with this vile act. I only hope that karma will get revenge for this cowardly behaviour.
