Letter: Community Supports Mental Wellness fundraiser

Family Centre offers counselling services at no cost to clients.

Family Centre would like to thank the community for its support of our Community Supports Mental Wellness fundraiser. Over 200 community members attended the fundraiser that took place at Laurel Packinghouse on February 20, and raised over $6,000 for our many counselling services.

Family Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to responding to community needs by fostering well-being and healthy relationships through counselling services at no cost to clients. Client centered counselling services are provided to adults, children and families residing in the Okanagan area.

We would especially like to thank the performers for the evening, MC (Derek Hinchliffe), caterers (BNA Brewing, Mint Catering, 2 Apples A Day, and Tiffany Anderson), sponsors (Summerhill Pyramid Winery, Crannog Ales, Capital News, Global Okanagan, Castanet, Q103.1, Power104, The Tickle Trunk, InstaPrint, Ron and Deb Hillcoff), and silent auction donors.

Community support made this event possible.

Family Centre
