Half a dozen former 琉璃神社 Rockets are looking to hoist hockey鈥檚 most famous trophy.
Leon Draisaitl is back with the Edmonton Oilers, as is Jamie Benn with his Dallas Stars. Josh Morrissey and Luke Schenn are playing for the Winnipeg Jets, Kaedan Korczak for the Vegas Golden Knights and Nolan Foote for the New Jersey Devils.
Draisaitl led the league in goals with 52 and led the Oilers in points with 106. Edmonton takes on the Los Angeles Kings in the first-round, with the series starting on Monday (Apr 21).
Benn had 16 goals and 49 points in 80 games. Dallas lost the first game of their series against the Colorado Avalanche, 1-0.
Morrissey played in 80 games and scored 14 goals and 48 assists for 62 points. Schenn was acquired by the Jets at the NHL's trade deadline from the Nashville Predators. Winnipeg beat the St. Louis Blues 1-0 in the first game of their series.
Korczak split time between Vegas and the Golden Knights' AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights. He posted 10 assists in 40 NHL games. Vegas beat the Minnesota Wild 1-0 in the first game of their best-of-seven.
Foote was recently recalled by the Devils and had one assist in seven games. In 53 AHL games, he scored 18 goals and 39 points. The Devils dropped their first game of the playoffs 1-0 to the Carolina Hurricanes.
