Former 琉璃神社 Rockets Jordan Cooke and Tyson Baillie are being recognized for their outstanding seasons in Canada West men鈥檚 hockey.
A third-year goalie with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies, Cooke was named to the conference鈥檚 2016-17 first all-star team.
Cooke, a former CHL, Canada West and CIS goalie of the year, has played in 26 games with the Huskies, posting a record of 19-6-0, a save percentage of .929 and a goals against average of 1.94.
A native of Leduc, Alta., Cooke spent parts of four seasons with the Rockets playing in 149 games while recording 92 victories.
Baillie, who is in his rookie season with the University of Alberta Golden Bears, was named this week to the Canada West all-rookie team.
In 28 games, the Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. product recorded 13 goals, 26 points and 24 penalty minutes.
Baillie spent parts of five seasons with the Rockets, playing in 329 career games while recording 310 points (138g, 172a). He was also an assistant captain for his last three seasons.
The two Rockets were among 16 former Western Hockey League (WHL) players to be named as league all-stars.
