The Okanagan Coyotes needed a trip to Kamloops to get their Canadian College Baseball Conference season back on track.

Mired in a six-game losing streak, OC took both ends of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon from hometown Thompson Rivers University, earning a weekend split of four games with the Wolfpack.

In Sunday鈥檚 opener in Kamloops, Liam Wyatt鈥檚 grand slam in the seventh inning was the difference in a 10-7 Coyotes win. It was Wyatt鈥檚 third round-tripper of the season.

Brandon Graham added two RBIs, while Trevor Brigden pitched 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the victory.

In the series finale, Trevor Loftstrom had three hits, including a home run, and five RBIs as OC rolled to a 14-1 win. Zac Yandeau tossed a five-hitter over seven innings to pick up his second win of the season for the Coyotes.

The series opened Saturday at 琉璃神社鈥檚 Elks Stadium, with the 鈥楶ack winning both games 9-5 and 19-2.

OC, now 6-6 on the season, will host the University of Fraser Valley Cascades on Friday at Elks Stadium, with games at 3:30 and 6:30 pm.

The teams will meet again Sunday for two games in Chilliwack. It鈥檚 UFV鈥檚 inaugural season in the CCBC.
