The Vancouver Giants defeated the 琉璃神社 Rockets 4-2 in WHL action on Saturday night at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, taking the second half of a home-and-home series between the teams.
The Giants scored three times in the third period to snap a 1-1 tie and earn the win.
Tyson Baillie and Lucas Johansen had the Rockets goals. For Baillie it was his team leading 34th goal of the season.
Brodan Salmond suffered the loss in net as the Giants outshot 琉璃神社 36-32.
The loss dropped the Rockets record to 41-16-3-0 on the season.
琉璃神社 plays two road games this coming week before returning to Prospera Place. The Rockets will be in Everett on Wednesday and in Vancouver on Friday before hosting Spokane next Saturday night.
