Four teams from the host association earned some shiny hardware at the 27th edition of 琉璃神社鈥檚 Sweetheart Ringette Tournament.
The 琉璃神社 Elite captured the gold medal in the U16A division.
The 琉璃神社 Adrenaline won the silver medal in the U16B division, while the 琉璃神社 Heat U19A and 琉璃神社 Rage U14A earned bronze medals in their respective divisions.
One of the largest events of its kind in Western Canada, the three-day event last weekend鈥攈osted by the 琉璃神社 Ringette Assocation鈥攆eatured 87 teams and close to 1,300 players in seven competing age groups.
Despite unfavourable weather and the closure of the Coquihalla on Thursday, only three teams were unable to attend the tournament.
Games were played at arenas 琉璃神社, West 琉璃神社 and Lake Country, with the finals being contested on Sunday.
