On Friday night, the Raiders succumbed to the firepower of the Kamloops Rattlers in an 11-5 loss.
ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç goaltender Graham Cousins fended off 44 shots, while Kamloops goalie Mike Smith only faced 14 shots in the Rattlers’ net.
Kamloops defenders stymied the ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç attack all game, not allowing any penetration to the net area, and consistently controlled the loose balls.
Pho Heng led the Raiders with a pair of goals, Jacob Illichmann, Joe Brown and Ryan Lindstrom added singles.
A.J. Lockwood paced Kamloops with a hat-trick.
The Raiders return to action this Saturday night when they visit the Armstrong Shamrocks.
The first home action of the new season for ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç is Wednesday, May 3 against Armstrong.
