Top prospects from Western Canada's four NHL clubs are returning to Penticton this September for the annual Young Stars Classic.

The Vancouver Canucks announced Monday the schedule and ticketing details for this year's pre-season tournament, which runs from Sept. 13 to 16 at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Marking the 11th edition of the showcase, this year's tournament will precede Canucks' training camp in Penticton. The NHL club earlier in July confirmed it would be returning to the Peach City for the event from Sept. 19 to 22.

The Young Stars Classic will feature a four-team, round-robin-style tournament with prospects from the Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets.

Full tournament packages for the Young Stars Classic will go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 29. Tickets can be purchased at the SOEC box office and on .

The Canucks, in conjunction with the SOEC, say this year's tournament will once again feature a Penticton Vees BCHL pre-season game:

• Calgary vs. Winnipeg - Sept. 13, 4 p.m.

• Vancouver vs. Edmonton - Sept. 13, 7:30 p.m.

• Penticton Vees vs. Salmon Arm Silverbacks pre-season game - Sept. 14, 3 p.m.

• Calgary vs. Edmonton- Sept. 14, 7:30 p.m.

• Vancouver vs. Winnipeg- Sept. 15, 2 p.m.

• Winnipeg vs. Edmonton- Sept. 16, 11 a.m.

• Calgary vs. Vancouver- Sept. 16, 2:30 p.m.

Along with the action on the ice, the weekend-long event will include a "party on the plaza," minor hockey gatherings and referee clinic.

Tournament packages include tickets to all six NHL games and the Vees' pre-season showdown with Salmon Arm.
