Star-studded rosters filled with NHL players announced for Homebase in 琉璃神社

The baseball diamond is going to be filled with current and retired NHL stars on Friday, June 23 in 琉璃神社.

Homebase, a celebrity slo-pitch charity game put on by retired NHLer Josh Gorges and current NHLer Blake Comeau, raises money every year for the KGH Foundation鈥檚 鈥楥loser to home than you think鈥 campaign.

A week before the event, the celebrity rosters have been announced and they are star-studded:

Team Gorges

Josh Gorges (Captain) - retired NHL defenceman, current West 琉璃神社 Warriors Director of Player Development;

Tyler Bouck - former NHL centre;

Rene Bourque - retired NHL forward;

Joel Edmundson - current NHL defenceman;

Cody Franson - former NHL defenceman;

Trent Kitsch - co-founder, Kitsch Wines;

Carey Price - current NHL Goalie;

Wade Redden - retired NHL defenceman;

Jordin Tootoo - retired NHL forward;

Aaron Volpatti - retired NHL forward;

TJ Caig (Pitcher) - retired EIHL forward.

Team Comeau

Blake Comeau (Captain) - current NHL forward;

Cam Barker - former NHL defenceman;

Duncan Keith, retired NHL defenceman;

Tyler Myers, current NHL defenceman;

Luke Schenn, current NHL defenceman;

Damon Severson, current NHL defenceman;

Todd Simpson, retired NHL defenceman;

Mike Smith, current NHL goalie;

Shea Weber, current NHL defenceman;

Ryan Caig (Pitcher).

An autograph session with a few of the players will take place before the celebrity game. The game starts at 6:30 at Elks Stadium.

Since the event鈥檚 inception, Team Gorges is 3-0 while Team Comeau is looking for their first win.
