A trio of West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Warriors are playing in the BCHL Top Prospects game in January.
Forwards Cal Hughes and Jack Pridham received automatic entries after being named on National Hockey League’s Central Scouting Players watch list back in October while defenceman Landen Hilditch made his way onto the Interior Conference team.
Pridham was the Warriors and the BCHL’s highest-ranked player on the watch list, as he was only player in the league to receive an ‘B’ ranking, which indicates a 2nd to 3rd round NHL draft selection. The 18-year-old is committed to Boston University and has nine goals and 10 assists in 25 games so far this season.
Hughes, 17, is also committed to Boston University and was ranked by Central Scouting as a ‘C’ skater back in October, designating him as a 4th to 5th round draft selection. In 25 games this season, Hughes has 10 goals and three assists.
Hilditch is in his second season with the Warriors since being acquired from Surrey back in January. Over 45 games in his Warriors career, he has two goals and 14 assists.
The Top Prospects Game is taking place at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton on January 19th, 2024.
