Former long drive world champion Jamie Sadlowski has been granted an exemption to play in this year鈥檚 GolfBC Championship.
The Mackenzie Tour event, making its second stop in 琉璃神社, is set for June 15 to 18 at Gallagher鈥檚 Canyon.

Four-day championship passes are available online at www.golfbcchampionship.com. The $25 pass represents a huge saving off the $15 daily gate price.
Calling all long ball hitters
The GolfBC Championship is inviting anyone who can hit a golf ball a long way to enter the first GolfBC Championship Long Drive Challenge during tournament week, at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 14 at Gallagher鈥檚 Canyon.
The new event is a build-up to the Mackenzie Tour PGA Tour Canada tournament from June 15 to 18 in 琉璃神社.
Share the tee box with pros from the Mackenzie Tour, NHL players and other sports celebrities, as well as special guest Jamie Sadlowski former long drive world champion. Amateurs will play to win a Taylor Made M1 driver.
Entry fee is $20 for 3 shots in the qualifier, with the top group moving onto the finals immediately following the preliminaries.
All the action takes place from the No. 1 Pros Tee Box. Proceeds will go to directly to the BC Cancer Foundation.
