He's a real sweetheart who loves to relax, snack and nap.
He may carry a few extra pounds, but that could be because he avoids vegetables whenever he's able.
Truffles, a 10-year-old pot-bellied pig, is looking for his new forever home at the BC SPCA's Good Shepherd Barn in Surrey.
Weighing in at 140 kilograms, or just over 308 pounds, the lovable porker is a "big boy" who "is a sweetheart, through and through," according to .
The male pig loves to relax, take naps, and partake in some snacks throughout the day, his bio continues.
"It鈥檚 clear to see that Truffles is overweight, so he鈥檒l need a home that can manage his diet to help him lose weight and get back into shape," the BC SPCA says. "Truffles has a history of not eating his veggies, but is starting to find certain healthy foods that he likes. It鈥檒l take some trial and error to figure out his ideal cuisine, but we鈥檙e sure he enjoys learning about new types of food in the meantime!"
Truffles used to be an emotional support animal, so "he鈥檚 got lots of kindness and love to share," the BC SPCA notes.
"Once he gets used to his new home and family, we鈥檙e sure that he鈥檒l be a sweet and loving friend!"
