Bear cools off in Salmon Arm pond

A bear with a powerful thirst stalks the streets of Salmon Arm looking for the ultimate drink

This bear was spotted by Salmon Arm resident Gerri Kiy about noon on Monday, Aug. 28. It crossed 20th Street NE where it hopped into a pond in the vicinity of the Park Ridge development and turned the fountain into its own personal drinking fountain.

Then it swam out and walked down a nearby trail.
