In October of 1989, I began my career in the classified department at the Capital News. I spent 17 years in the accounting department, where I worked my way up to group controller for the Interior with Lower Mainland Publishing and then West Partners Publishing. When Black Press Media purchased the Capital News in 2003, I integrated into the accounting department, working with the president on all the southern divisions. In 2006, I took on the position of publisher at the Vernon Morning Star. After four years there, I made my way back to 琉璃神社 in September 2010 as Group Publisher of the Capital News, West K News, Lake Country Calendar, Salmon Arm Observer, Revelstoke Review, and our specialty publication Okanagan Food & Wine Trails.
