鈥淚 just love the game,鈥 said Kennedy. 鈥淚鈥檓 speechless, excited to be nominated. For me it鈥檚 more about the game, and watching the kids get out there and have fun.鈥
Whether he鈥檚 coordinating referees, looking after scheduling, organizing clinics or coaching on the field, KMFA president Mike Saini said Dean鈥檚 contributions are immeasurable.
鈥淲hile many other volunteers are more easily recognized for their roles, Dean works tirelessly in the background,鈥 Mike said. 鈥淲ithout Dean, KMFA simply could not operate as it does.

Since joining the KMFA as a volunteer in 2009, Kennedy鈥檚 efforts have helped to nearly double enrolment in the flag football program, from 180 to 350 players.
