He鈥檚 cute, he鈥檚 cuddly and he is available for adoption.
Two-year-old Monty was found wandering the streets of 琉璃神社 alongside another pup. The two were taken to 琉璃神社鈥檚 Dog Control and while his partner in crime was collected by his owner, no one came for poor Monty.
The Terrier mix was then placed into the care of the Okanagan Humane Society.
The charity has since vaccinated, de-wormed and neutered Monty.
This little guy loves to cuddle, he is good with both cats and dogs and he sleeps through the night.
Monty loves to play and is also crate-trained.
The organization is projected to help more than 4,000 animals this year between both of its key programs, a 35 per cent increase from the previous year.
The charity is primarily volunteer-run but does partner with more than 20 veterinary hospitals throughout the Okanagan Valley, and relies on volunteer foster families to house their animals as opposed to a shelter.
The average cost of care per animal at OHS is $300.
