Many toys and thousands of dollars expected to be raised, final numbers yet to be announced

Everything was merry and bright at the Coast Capri Hotel on Wednesday, Nov. 29 as the annual Tiny Tim Charity Toy Breakfast took place.

Anyone with an unwrapped toy or cash donation for the Salvation Army was welcome to come by the hotel and enjoy a free buffet breakfast and entertainment.

The event started at 6:30 a.m. and went until 9:30 a.m. with hundreds of people attending throughout the morning.

While the final numbers haven鈥檛 been announced yet, the event is expecting to bring in thousands of dollars and toys that are all being donated to help families and people in need this holiday season.

It was the 23rd time the Coast Hotel Capri has hosted the event.

Some local organizations that attended the event included members of the 琉璃神社 Rockets.

Anyone who wasn鈥檛 able to make the event can still donate by calling the hotel before Dec. 6 at 250-860-6060 or by dropping off unwrapped toys at the hotel.
