The Brooks Bandits and Penticton Vees meet at Centennial Regional Arena in Alberta on Sept. 27, 2024.

When fans walk through the doors of the South Okanagan Events Centre ahead of the next Penticton Vees game, they'll see the return of Halloween Alley.

A night of games and fun is on tap for families on Oct. 26, when the Vees host the Vernon Vipers.

Halloween Alley will be inside the SOEC and across from the Vault Bar & Grill. It's there where event organizers will have interactive games, sensory stations, prizes and candy.

The night will also feature a costume contest, hosted by Real Canadian Superstore. Fans are expected to decide the winner of the competition during the first intermission.

Interested in joining the competition?

SOEC officials are asking those in costumes to be at guest services during the TV timeout in the first period to get in on the fun.

Fans are invited to check out the festivities throughout the night, as the Vees look to remain perfect at home to start the 2024-2025 BCHL season.

Doors open at 5 p.m., with puck drop set for 6 p.m.

Costume rules, according to the SOEC, include:

• No masks, with the exception of medial masks

• No weapons

• No nudity or explicit content

• Respect and sensitivity
