Search warrant executed at Lake Country home, no risk to public: RCMP

The Emergency Response Team and other officers were called to the area around 11 a.m.

RCMP say there is no risk to the public after officers executed at search warrant at a home at Russell and Pheasant roads in Lake Country Thursday (Oct. 24) morning.

The Emergency Response Team and other officers were called to the area around 11 a.m. A Black Press Media reporter at the scene saw members of the Lake Country Fire Department enter the home in full gear, with gas masks and fans.

A fence was smashed and multiple windows were broken at the home. 

Police were also inspecting at rental van parked in front of home. A large sticker was placed on the van, preventing it from being opened.
