Canadian comedian Bruce McCulloch is ready to stir up some laughs at the 琉璃神社 Community Theatre on June 30.
McCulloch's 'Tales of Bravery and Stupidity' is said to poke fun at daily life.
"My wife says that I put myself in weird situations for the material, which is true," McCulloch said. "I have somehow found myself in very odd situations in my life where I do things I don't need to do and then I end up being able to write about them."
McCulloch says the show is a relatable one, focused on how we use humour and comedy to get through the tough times.
"We don't think about how we need it and how we lean on each other and how quickly we can go to dark jokes to kind of heal each other, or to heal the world. We're not just making fun of things, we're using it to get through."
Tickets are on sale at the 琉璃神社 Community Theatre box office and website. The show starts at 8 p.m.
