An art auction put on by 琉璃神社鈥檚 Gospel Mission (KGM) was a great success.

The first annual event took place at Grizzli Winery in West 琉璃神社 on Jan. 27 and in total raised $150,000 to support services at KGM.

More than 180 people attended and more than 30 original paintings were auctioned off.

鈥淭he generosity displayed by those in attendance, as well as the artists, galleries, and sponsors involved, is sincerely appreciated and is having a significant impact in our community,鈥 said KGM鈥檚 resource development specialist Spencer Larsen. 鈥淭heir contributions made this all possible and elevated the event to a level that we couldn鈥檛 have imagined, and for that, we say thank you.鈥

Because of the event鈥檚 success, the second annual event has already been scheduled for 2025.
