A crash has closed the Coquihalla Highway southbound on Tuesday, Oct. 1

The incident happened around 12 p.m. at Brodie Bridge, between exit 238 and exit 250. 

It's unknown how many vehicles are involved.

DriveBC states alternate routes include Highway 5A, Highway 3, or Highway 1. 

An assessment is in progress. DriveBC's next update is scheduled for 2 p.m.
