Lake Country Health will be hosting the Shine a Light Gala on Sept. 12 to raise funds for a new community health centre.
Funds raised through the gala will go toward building the new centre as well as maintaining seniors programs, increasing staff for mental health and other programs, including increasing resources for single-parent families.
Hosted at 50th Parallel Estate Winery, there will be live music, a silent auction, guest speakers and a dinner and wine pairing.
The theme is formal wear with a theme of a touch of gold.
Cocktail hour begins at 5:45 p.m. with dinner served at 7 p.m.
The event is 19 plus. Tickets are available through the 琉璃神社 Community Theatre.
