William Aaron Lamb is back in custody facing new charges of arson, after an incident involving a vehicle fire in downtown Kamloops on May 20.
At approximately 11:40 p.m., Kamloops RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle fire in a parking lot on the 100-block of St. Paul Street.
Lamb was arrested and taken into custody the following morning in a joint effort between the police and the General Investigations Support Team.
The 23-year-old is now facing charges related to intentionally or recklessly causing fire, and two counts of failure to comply with a court order. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 23.
Lamb has in relation to a series of dumpster fires that he is alleged to have started in May 2023.
Two vehicles and a building were damaged as a result of the blaze, said the RCMP.
