琉璃神社 hospital going green in memory of Humbolt Broncos' Logan Boulet

琉璃神社 General Hospital is marking Green Shirt Day by lighting up in green on April 7. 

Green Shirt Day started in honour of Logan Boulet, a Humbolt Broncos hockey player who died in a bus crash on April 6, 2018. Boulet became an organ donor helping save six people, and in the weeks that followed and estimated 150,000 people signed up to be an organ donor. 

On Monday, April 7, people are encouraged to wear green in memory of the 16 people who died and the 13 others involved in the crash. 

Interior Health is asking people to keep Boulet's memory alive by registering to be an organ donor with . 

Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops will also be lit up in green.
