Westside Road reopen to single-lane alternating after landslide

The road has been closed since April 1

B.C.'s Ministry of Transportation and Transit provided an update on the Westside Road landslide on Thursday afternoon, April 3, and released a video showing the clearing efforts that are ongoing at the scene.

AIMRoads took to social media today, April 6, to let people know that Westside Road will be passable for vehicles by 1 p.m.

The road between Main Street and Denison Road has been closed since April 1 after a landslide. 

Traffic will be single-lane alternating 24 hours a day until further notice.
