The 琉璃神社 Chamber has announced its new board of directors.
鈥淲e are pleased to welcome several new directors with some very relevant new skill sets as a result of an election that generated an unprecedented level of interest,鈥 said Maryse Harvey, incoming chair-elect.
Table officers were elected by acclamation and include Harvey of MH2 Advisory Services, Derek Gratz of UBC Okanagan industry liaison, vice chair-elect, and Patrick Bobyn, of Pushor Mitchell secretary-elect.
Eleven director positions were open during member voting over two weeks in February and the following candidates received sufficient votes through electronic balloting:
- Dobrila Braunstein - Sandhill Winery;
- Sarang Gokhale - Mission Group;
- Lauarl Hogg - Rush Ihas Harwick LLP;
- Ryan Malcolm - Emil Anderson Group;
- Amarjit Lalli - TS Lalli Holdings;
- Treena Piva - Real Property Management;
- Paula Quinn - KF Aerospace Centre for Excellence;
- Carmen Rempel - 琉璃神社鈥檚 Gospel Mission;
- Curtis Tarapaski - Cairo Developments;
- Marina Warrender - KPMG;
- Chris Wills - Venture Commercial Realty.
Braunstein, Hogg, and Malcolm are new directors on the board.
鈥淚 also would like to thank our outgoing chair, Dan Price, for leading us for the past year including through the development of our new strategic plan,鈥 Harvey added. 鈥淚 also would like to offer our gratitude to those directors who are stepping down. You were important contributors to our success in 2023.鈥
The board also includes four advisory positions representing the City of 琉璃神社, Okanagan College, Westbank First Nation, and the Okanagan Business Students Association.
Directors will be ratified at the chamber鈥檚 annual general meeting on April 4.
