The Revelstoke Rod and Gun Club held a grand opening of their new range on Aug. 10.
The club welcomed families at 1 p.m. for a barbecue and activities at the new Frisbee Range on Westside Road near the Revy Riders dirt bike track.
"It was really a successful day, couldn't have asked for better," Director Peter Bernacki said, adding that over 100 people attended. "All the kids really enjoyed it. All the young people were there and that's what I was happy with."
The club officially took over the new range in August 2023 after the land of their previous facility in Arrow Heights was sold. The Camozzi Road Range has permanently closed.
The Revelstoke Rod and Gun Club has been promoting wildlife conservation and habitat protection since the 1970s.
