There will be a ‘Pussy Riot’ in downtown ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç on March 4, and everyone is invited.
The group is a Russian feminist protest and performance art group that uses their music to share messages of social justice.
The band was founded in Moscow but became popular around the world for its provocative punk rock music and unauthorized performative protest ‘gurilla gigs’ that were held in public places. The performances were then filmed and posted online creating controversy. Pussy Riot’s performances typically include themes of feminism, LGBTQ rights and opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Multiple members of the group have been arrested and jailed Russia in relation to their performances.
Now, the group is travelling across North America for the second leg of the Riot Days tour, with a stop in ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç.
The all-ages ‘activist multimedia experience’ will take place at the Revelry on March 4. To buy tickets and learn more visit
