After a stellar regular season, the Okanagan College (OC) Coyotes are the number one seed going into the Canadian College Baseball Conference (CCBC) playoffs.
The Coyotes finished first in the regular season with a record of 21-10, one of just three teams to finish above .500.
Because OC is the number one seed, they play the opening game of the playoffs against the number eight seed Victoria Collegiate, who finished the season 10-22.
The CCBC playoffs, taking place in Lethbridge this year, is a double-elimination tournament, meaning a team’s season is over after two losses.
OC and Victoria open the tournament at 3:30 p.m. Central, 2:30 p.m. Pacific on Thursday, May 16.
