The Okanagan Sun look to extend their perfect winning streak on Saturday, Aug. 31 as they welcome the Kamloops Broncos to the Apple Bowl.
The Sun is coming off a 70-0 blow-out of the Prince George Kodiaks on Saturday, Aug. 17 putting them at 5-and-0 and atop the BCFC standings. Sun running back Elelyon Noa had 216 yards rushing on just 14 carries and two touchdowns on the game, along with another 75 yards receiving (five receptions) and another major, earning him Offensive Player of the Week honours.
Heading into Week 7, Noa leads the league with 760 rushing yards for an average of 144 yards per game and 11 rushing touchdowns. He also leads in points scored with 72. On the defensive side, wide receiver Jacob Bond leads the league with 32 tackles, and wide receiver Ahmed Borhot leads with four interceptions.
The Sun are second in the BCFC in points for (182) behind the Westshore Rebels (212) and second in points against (69) behind the Langley Rams (60).
