One man faces potential charges after assaulting a BC Transit driver late Friday night in downtown 琉璃神社.
On May 20 at 10:57 p.m., the 琉璃神社 RCMP responded to a report of an assault that had just occurred at the Quennsway bus loop in downtown 琉璃神社. Police have determined that the victim, a 琉璃神社 City BC Transit bus driver, had been punched several times after refusing to allow the suspect to bring a bike onto the bus.
RCMP took custody of the suspect who was arrested by a security officer in the downtown. The police investigation is ongoing at this time.
The suspect, a 19-year-old 琉璃神社 man, faces a potential charge of assault. He is expected to appear in Court at a later date.
