A "major" accident has closed down Highway 6 east of Lumby.
The incident, reported near Bear Valley Road/Blue Springs, is west of Cherryville.
Reports are the highway could be closed for several hours.
Passenger vehicles can detour Creighton Valley Road, but there is no detour for commercial traffic.
