Glass door smashed at Vernon's senior activity centre

Staff at the Schubert Centre showed up to glass shattered in a door Sunday, Oct. 13.

Shattered glass greeted workers at Vernon's downtown senior's centre recently.

One of the Schubert Centre's glass doors was smashed sometime overnight Saturday, Oct. 12.

Police were alerted to the incident at 7 a.m. Oct. 13, which took place in the east side parking lot.

"Nothing was reported stolen and there was no indication that anyone had gained entry to the building," said Const. Chris Terleski, Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media relations officer.

No suspects have been identified and anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 250-545-7171 and quote file #2024-17435.

"If anyone saw anything, please let us know," the Schubert Centre pleads.
