People's Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier will be making two stops in the South Okanagan just a week after CPC Leader Pierre Poilievre.

Bernier will start his tour of the region with a town hall in Summerland on the morning of April 12.

The town hall starts at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 12:30 p.m. at the Harold Simpson Youth Centre, 9111 Peach Orchard Road.

The information about the event is minimal, but it does say it will be a chance to meet with Bernier and the local candidates.

Representing the PPC in the Similkameen-South Okanagan-West Kootenay riding is Barry Dewar.

Debra Robinson is representing the party in the neighbouring Okanagan Lake West-South 琉璃神社 riding.

Later in the evening there will be a social event at the Diamond Steak House in Osoyoos from 4 to 6 p.m.
