Salmon River Road in Mara remains closed in both directions due to a sinkhole blocking both lanes.

A sinkhole has closed Riverside Road in Mara to traffic in both directions.
DriveBC announced the "roadway obstruction" between 233 and 136 Riverside Road at 1:47 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8.
"Sinkhole blocking both lanes," the post states. "All properties are accessible on either side of the closure."
Local traffic from Riverside can use Highway 97A to access the area.
The next update will be on DriveBC at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9.
