The Central and North Okanagan might see its first dusting of snow on city streets by Tuesday evening.
Environment Canada is calling for a 70 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers late this evening and overnight, in both regions.
Wednesday the snowy forecast is set to continue, turning to rain in the late afternoon 鈥� the high for the day 4 C.
The chance of snow will come as good news to skiers as and are both set to open on Wednesday. With half off lift ticket prices and the opportunity to enjoy a blue bird day on Thursday, those headed to the mountain this week will be in for a good time.
Friday is set for a 60 per cent chance of snow, the high 3 C. Overnight that snow could turn to rain.
Those in the South Okanagan can expect a 30 percent chance of rain showers or flurries late Tuesday evening and overnight.
Much of the same for Wednesday with the snow level rising to 600 metres in the morning 鈥� the high for the day 4 C.
Thursday is forecast to have a mix of sun and cloud, while Friday the rain will return along with some light flurries.
For the weekend prepare for more rain and light flurries with temperatures around 4 C for the Okanagan region.
