Mark Brett/Western News Plenty is happening around the Central Okanagan this Easter weekend.

The Okanagan is full of tasty Easter treats waiting to be found.

Start your Easter weekend today with a pancake breakfast. The Okanagan Mission Hall will be hosting their third annual Pancake Breakfast at 8:30 a.m.

The Girl Guides will be on hand in the hall with crafts and egg decorating for the kids, bouncy castles in the parking lot, and more followed by a morning wrap up with an Eggstravaganza time at 10:30 a.m. for the Mission Lions Club鈥檚 40th anniversary.

Or, if you can鈥檛 make the early morning breakfast, enjoy pancakes and an Easter egg hunt at the Parkinson Recreational Centre at 10 a.m.

Then, tune into a 琉璃神社 Rockets vs. Portland Winderhawks starting at 7:05 p.m.

If you feel like music, Early Music Okanagan will be presenting their Easter-themed concert called Music for Easter: From Medival to Baroque at 6 p.m.at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Come down to the 琉璃神社 Gospel Mission from 12 to 6 p.m. for a free meal Saturday. This meal is provided free of charge to 琉璃神社鈥檚 homeless or anyone in need.

Patrons can partake in a children鈥檚 Easter egg hunt at the 琉璃神社 Hyundai, 3260 Highway 97 N, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.

Or if you鈥檙e in Lake Country, the Interior B.C. Association for Injured Motorists is holding an Easter egg hunt at Kayola Regional Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A free BBQ lunch will be provided.

Take a break from the Easter treats by stopping by to see a real wolf at the Rutland Boys and Girls Club from 1 to 4 p.m.
