UBC Okanagan's James Casorso carded a final round 69 to win the Douglas Invitational, the third stop of the season on the PACWEST varsity golf circuit.
Casorso, an Immaculata grad and senior member of the Heat team, finished with a 139 total at the Westwood Plateau club, two strokes better than Langara's Jacob Vanderpas.
Heat teammates Grant Dolleveot and Jacob Stewart tied for ninth at 150.
In the overall individual season standings, Casorso is tied for fourth, while Stewart is eighth.
In team competition, UBCO placed second only to Langara by just two strokes, 591 to 593.
In women's competition, the Heat's Lauren Siemers and McKenna Lesiuk tied for fourth at 167, while Jessica Kozak placed fifth at 178.
The will be in Parksville this weekend for the fourth tournament of the season at the Morningstar Golf Course.

琉璃神社's Rob Anderson finished in a tie for fifth place at the PGA of BC Club Professional Championship in Richmond.
The 琉璃神社 Golf and Country Club prio carded a two round score of 3-over par 149 (75-74) last weekend at the Quilchena Golf & Country Club.
Anderson picked up $900 for his efforts.
Black Mountain's Russ Latimer placed 17th overall.
