ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Rocket and Washington Capitals prospect Andrew Cristall has been named the Tempo WHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 24 by the Western Hockey League (WHL).
Cristall led all WHL players in scoring during the week, tallying nine points (3G-6A) and a plus-4 rating in just three games. His impressive performance extended his point streak to 12 games, and he has been held off the scoresheet only once in 15 appearances this season. Cristall currently leads the Rockets and ranks third in WHL scoring with 40 points (13G-27A). His 27 assists are the second-highest in the league.
The standout forward notched five points (1G-4A) during the Rockets' 8-3 victory over the Vancouver Giants on Friday (Nov. 22). He closed out the weekend with two goals and a plus-1 rating in an overtime loss to the WHL-leading Everett Silvertips.
Over his WHL career, Cristall has amassed 320 points (122G-198A) in 206 regular-season games. He was originally selected by the Rockets in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft and was drafted by the Capitals in the second round (40th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft.
