Local teams bring home two gold medals at B.C.-wide competitions

Penticton was well represented at a trio of recent provincial lacrosse tournaments.

Local squads from the U11, U15 and U17 divisions of the Penticton Minor Lacrosse Association all brought home medals on Sunday, May 12, after returning from competitions across B.C.

While the U11 team captured bronze at a box lacrosse tournament in 琉璃神社, Penticton鈥檚 U15 squad won gold in Nanaimo.

Local U17 athletes also brought home gold medals, doing so at a tournament in Maple Ridge.

The Penticton Minor Lacrosse Association features box and field lacrosse players from across the South Okanagan.
