A well-decorated member of Team Canada’s women’s hockey team is coming to ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç to teach girls her craft.

Three-time Olympic gold medal winner Rebecca Johnston will be in town from July 17-21 for the ‘Just For Girls’ camp put on by Canadian Hockey Enterprises at the Capital News Centre.

The camp will feature both on-ice and dryland training, as well as a week-long tournament.

Now in its third decade of existence, the camp often brings out national team members to apply their wise words, strong sniping and speedy skating skills.

Johnston’s storied career comes with quite the resume - The 33-year-old from Sudbury won gold with Team Canada at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, 2014 in Sochi and 2022 in Beijing, adding a silver in 2018 in Pyeongchang.

She made her name known as a member of the Cornell Big Red in college, before professional stints with the Toronto Furies and Calgary Inferno.
