The ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç United (Greenhough) U15 girls earned their most convincing win of the young Thompson Okanagan Youth Soccer League season, shutting out Penticton 4-0 Sunday in Rutland.
Ashlyn Eisenkrein made a great pass to Kaley Krivoshein for the opening goal 10 minutes in to make it 1-nil. In the second half, Krivoshein was hauled down on a breakaway, with the resulting PK goal putting ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç ahead 2-0. Penticton came close to scoring on a penalty kick after a collision between a hard-charging keeper Tayshja Clark and the Penticton attacker, but Tayshja made a big save to preserve her clean sheet. Krivoshein, with her third of the game, and Eisenkrein rounded out the scoring for KU.

• U15 boys
KU/Junior Heat defeated ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç United 3-0. After playing to a draw in the first meeting of the weekend between the teams, Junior Heat finished with the win in the second game on goals by Chris West, Ethan Cowan, and Miguel Ambrosia.
• U13 girls
KU/Junior Heat handled Shuswap U13 Girls 11-0. Thanks to an impenetrable defensive team of Ava Craig, Maddie Banman, Grace Munson and Hinano Hennessey and led by captain Abby Gubbels, goaltender Makenna Allison had her first no touch game. The goal scorers were: Olivia Lawrie (3), Teghan McCormick (2), Megan Crozier (2), Shae Taylor, Piper Guidi, Tatum Grundy and Ava Craig.
The KU Storm (Watson) tied the Kamloops Blaze 1-1. Strong defensive play was shown by Lily Kolochuk, Emily Buckmaster, and Kennedy Day in goal. Hailey Kristiansen Yeulett scored the KU goal of the day, assisted by Paris Kirk.
On Tuesday, the KU Storm defeated Shuswap 5-1. Malyssa Watson, assisted by Kaedence Mollin, scored Storm as the team’s entered the half tied 1-1. In the second half, KU dominated, with goals from Paris Kirk, Avery Muir, Kaedence Mollin and Lilly Kolochuk. Great assisting by Julia Adamson, Kaedence Mollin and Jenna Gilbert, as well as strong playing by the rest of the team in their positions made the goals possible.
• U13 boys
The KU U13 Warriors fell 4-0 to Kamloops D. The Warriors put high pressure on the ball, creating a couple of scoring opportunities, but unfortunately did not find the back of the net. Kamloops struck quickly on counter attacks, leading 3-nil at half time. In the second half, the Warriors displayed better defense, but conceded one more goal.
