The Vernon Vipers celebrate after an impressive 6-1 victory over the West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Warriors on Saturday night.

After getting shutout on Friday night, the Vernon Vipers rebounded on Saturday, throttling West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç, 6-1.

The six goals were a season-high for a Vipers (5-8-3) team that has struggled to string together consistent performances.

In the second, West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç's Sam LeDrew got the home squad on the board with his eighth of the season on the power-play.

Cleaves and Shea Busch tallied on two more for the Vipers in the third, to wrap up the 6-1 victory. Vernon's Marko Bilic made 27 saves for his second victory of the season, while West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç's Lisson took his first loss of the year.

Vernon is back in action at home on Friday, Nov. 8, when the Trail Smoke Eaters come to town. West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç (4-8-2-1) will be back at home on Tuesday, Nov. 5 to face the Penticton Vees.
