Liam Neeson taken with New Westminster sandwich shop

Employees at Big Star Sandwich Co. got a visit from the Taken actor while in B.C. filming a movie

What started out as a witty message on a New Westminster sandwich board has ended in a visit from Liam Neeson.

Each week, employees at , come up with a clever message to write on a sandwich board outside the storefront.

This week, a few of the employees decided to write a message that would get Taken actor 鈥檚 attention, who鈥檚 currently filming across the street, an employee confirmed.

鈥淟iam Neeson eats here for free,鈥 the employees wrote, and 鈥渃ome in and get taken away by our sandwiches.鈥

To their surprise, Neeson tagged along with film crews Tuesday afternoon to meet the employees and pose for a quick photo.

Reports say Neeson is currently filming Hard Powders, a movie that was denied permission by Parks Canada to film in Alberta鈥檚 national parks in March and is now being filmed across B.C.
