Scotiabank matched $15k donations to Salvation Army 琉璃神社 over holidays

Scotiabank came to help out the Salvation Army in a big way during the holiday season.

On Dec. 9, 2023, during the Salvation Army鈥檚 Christmas Kettle campaign, Scotiabank employees from around 琉璃神社 went and volunteered at three kettle locations. During that time, the banking institution, through its Scotia Team Community Program, was matching donations up to $15,000.

Through that day, $28,301 was raised at the three locations. With the matching donations, $43,301 was raised in total.

鈥淪cotiabank has partnered with us since 2011,鈥 said 琉璃神社 Salvation Army mayor Mark Wagner. 鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful to Scotiabank and its staff for their generous support of our work in this community.鈥
