Heal grief in community with Central Okanagan Hospice

Participants can choose between a walk at Mission Creek or a sharing circle
memory-walk
COHA is hosting a memory walk and a memory talk on the National Grief and Bereavement Day, Nov. 19.

The Central Okanagan Hospice Association is welcoming everyone dealing with grief and sorrow to join them in a memory walk or talk for the National Grief and Bereavement Day on Nov. 19.

To honour loved ones lost, the public is encouraged to walk Mission Creek Greenway with other community members starting at 1 p.m.

For those with mobility challenges or who would prefer not to walk, a sharing circle will be hosted at the same time at Mission Creek Alliance Church.

Following the walk and talk, participants can enjoy refreshments, reflection, and a special memorial activity.

The event is free of charge, however, those interested in participating are asked to register or by emailing Andi Harvey at andi@hospicecoha.org.
